Jar of Haunts

Hi Stampers,
I saw this cute card on Patty Bennett's blog the other day and knew I wanted to CASE it to some degree. For those of you who don't know what CASE stands for it is Copy and Share Everything. Which means if you see something out there on another person's blog, for etiquette sake, if you give that person credit for creating a paper craft they don't mind if you make their card but give them the credit for coming up with the idea. So I took Patty's card and changed it up just a little. I used a basic black base and the first layer is Cucumber Crush cut at 5 1/4" x 4". The next layer is cut from the Halloween Night Specialty DSP at 5" x 3 3/4". I cut out the jars with the Everyday Jars Framelits, stamped them with Archival Black Ink with the eyeballs from the Jar of Haunts stamp set and colored them in with my Blender Pen in Crushed Cucumber. After it dried I took my clear Wink of Stella and put a glisten to the liquid. I stamped the eyeball again on whisper white card stock and cut out the eyes individually which makes it look like it's pouring eyeballs from one jar to the next......what a fun, fun card to make.

Watercolored Leaflits Framelits

Not a surprise that I would post another watercolor card. These leaves are absolutely beautiful when you see this card with your naked eye. The picture just doesn't do it justice. I will give you the directions step by step.

1. Card base of Rich Razzleberry is 8.5 x 5.5" and scored at 4.25".
2. First layer of Cucumber Crush is 5.25" x 4"
3. Second layer is a Fall retired DSP cut at 5" x 3.75"

I took a couple pieces of watercolor paper and taped them to a back of a Designer Series Paper package or any piece of cardboard so the paper doesn't curl. I taped it down with painters tape. Then I misted both pieces of paper with a spray of water and took my Aqua Painter and grabbed some reinkers in Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry and painted away in no particular pattern.

While the paper is still wet, take some salt and sprinkle it all over the paper. I have used table salt as well but for this particular card, I used Sea Salt. The table salt will give you smaller spots.

I mist it lightly with water again after I put the salt on and shortly you will see it starting to absorb the salt.

After air drying an hour or so you can take your framelits and run them through the Big Shot! The colors are gorgeous.

This is a close up of the leaves and then I took Wink of Stella Gold an dabbed it over the top of the leaves. They turned out so beautiful! I hope you take the time to try this.

Grateful for You

Here is another fast and easy card to make. This time I put washi tape across the first layer of Very Vanilla. Everything else is pretty much the same as yesterday's card. This is a great way to use up some bits and pieces of your washi tape. I like to use my grid paper and line up the cardstock so I can get the washi tape in a straight line. Product List

Leaflits Framelits

Hi Stampers,

I don't know how the time gets away from me each week!! Yikes!! Today I'm sharing this simple leaflit card. Don't you just love the Cable Knit textured impressions embossing folder? And this card is sooo simple to make. Literally a total of 5 minutes to complete and you can put any saying you want on the outside or leave it simple like I did. I chose to stamp a saying on the inside. Although the leaf looks like it is inside the layering circle framelits, it's actually the ovals. I must have taken a picture of this card 5 times and it didn't matter which angle I stood, it would not take a good picture. And the first layer is Very Vanilla, not Whisper White.
