Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving one and all. I just want to let you know how much I appreciate each one of you. This is one of my favorite fall cards using water paper and the salt technique. So much fun with these leaves.

Hi Stampers,

I had so much fun making these cards, I couldn't quit. I got this idea from the ever talented Sandi Maciver. Her video is so funny, very entertaining. One of these days I will get up enough nerve to post my first one. These cards took a lot of sponging but once you get your own technique down it's a lot of fun. I can't decide what color I liked best.

I've got a couple beautiful cards to share this morning, thanks to the ever talented Tami White. They are so much more striking when you can see them in person.....and so easy. You just follow the lines on your grid paper. They literally take just a few minutes to complete. I sprayed a mist on top to get the shine. It's one that Stampin Up used to have called Frost White Shimmer Mist.

Sleigh Ride Edgelits

I really enjoyed the sponge effect when making this card. I masked off the moon.

Joyful Season

I loved the different elements in this card that I cased parts from Erica Cerwin and Brandy Cox and combined the two. Just a precautionary....One of my Circle Framelits got magnitzed to the bottom of the Magnetic Platform and it went through my Big Shot on the bottom. I was just sick...it literally destroyed the Framelit. I was just thankful it didn't ruin my Big Shot. Be careful where you set your Framelits!!

Halloween Wedding

Some friends of mine had a wedding on Saturday night. They both love Halloween so they had a Halloween ceremony. They encouraged everyone attending to dress in costumes, so many of us did. Even the little ones had a great time.

The Bride and Groom, Ed and Terrie.

My son, Nick, myself and my daughter in law, Angie.

My son, Rob and my daughter in law, Amy. Amy's Mom made their costumes.
Me with my grandchildren.

And even baby Augusta was in costume.

Thinking of You

This was a fun card to make using the Happy Scenes stamp set and coloring with the markers. Did you see the itty bitty leaves? So cute!! I cut them out with the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Die, sponged the edges and crumbled them up a bit.
