Baker's Box Thinlits

This is the first box I have made with the Baker's Box Thinlits and how fun!!! I sponged the bottom of the box with Old Olive and then added the leaves made with the corrugated paper.

I was looking for something fun for my 2 cousins who turned 60 this year to give to them at our family reunion. The image is not Stampin Up but I still found a lot of enjoyment coloring this card.

I've been missing in action for the past couple of days. I went to my home state of South Dakota where we had a Cox family reunion. It was a great time and nice to see lots of cousins we hadn't seen in several years. This picture never gets old to me. It's amazing how much work has gone into constructing this.

We also did a tour of the Prairie Berry Winery while in Hill City, South Dakota with some first cousins, sister and sister in law. What a great weekend.

At convention we did a couple of make and takes. I changed my card up a bit but sure was fun to make.

I used the Home for the Holidays DSP item #139592, Real Red card stock, Very Vanilla Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon item #139616, Home for Christmas Designer Buttons item #139639 and Cozy Christmas stamp set item #139776.

I recently attended the Stampin Up convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. I went with my sister, Peggy Ireland, who is my upline and 3 other fun gals from the Rapid City, SD area, Shirrese Linn, Carol Whiting and Kim Darata. We had a great time. Although we had been there before, we toured the Stampin Up facility in Riverton, Utah. What a beautiful area.

This is where all the boxes get folded and move down the assembly line. So interesting.

A very nice Stampin Up employee explaining how our boxes get to us.

Another Halloween card that was fun to make using  If the Broom Fits stamp set

Thursday, August 13, 2015

Howdy Stampers,

I had a lot of ideas going for this card. It uses the new stamp set, If the Broom Fits,   Item #139693 from the upcoming Holiday catalog available on September 1st. I used the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper #139584 as well as the Black Glimmer Paper. The green paper is Cucumber Crush. The little bat on the right is an old punch that I just can't be without during the Halloween season.
