Marbled Stamp

Good Morning everyone,

Today I'd like to share this card I made using the Marbled background stamp! Love the design in this stamp. I cased some of the ideas from Elaine Harding. You can see her video here. 

Here are my details:

• Base is cut at 8.5" x 5.5" and scored at 4 1/4" in Daffodil Delight
• Second layer is 5 1/4" x 4" in Lemon Lime Twist
• Third layer is 5" x 3 3/4" in Whisper White
• I used the largest coffee die in the Coffee Cafe suite.

Madison County Fair

This past weekend, Madison County Fair was held in Winterset, Iowa and three of my granddaughters participated. Sierra, who is 5 won 1st place in her age division for her bottle calf. She handled her calf so well for a 5 year old.

Lindee, who is 9, also won 1st place for her age division for her bottle calf.

Lanee, who is 12, showed sheep. She placed 2nd in her division. It was a super hot day on Saturday with temps near 100 degrees and high humidity but these gals braved it extremely well.

Stair Step Card

Good Evening Everyone from hot and humid Iowa with no rain in sight. At 8:00 PM my thermometer reads 99 degrees.

I made this Stair Step card for my sister's 70th Birthday. The colors are so pretty together and the foil paper is just stunning. I found the directions here. On the second picture I posted the dimensions for the little card that sits on the third stair. Hope it's much cooler where you live.

Colorful Seasons Bundle

Did I ever have fun making this card. For the sponged background, I actually used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks. I love the blending of these. Then I took a spray bottle of water to mist over the top and that is how I got the sprinkled look. I used sandpaper on the bottom to give it a beach look.
