Simple but Elegant Butterfly

These butterflies just go fluttering by, anyway so it seems, as I was watercoloring them. This was another lesson from my watercolor class I took. I so enjoyed making these.

This one I used Pacific Point and Rich Razzleberry.

Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight were used on this one.

And then I chose Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight.

I finished them off with some silver wire, a hint of Wink of Stella clear on their wings. The stamp set is from Birthday Blooms stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with black embossing powder.  I hope you enjoyed my butterflies.

  2. Thanks Holly. Yes, I took the class through Pink Buckaroo designs. $35 for the class.Erica Cerwin. She may still let you take it. I really enjoyed it. Learned a lot. I took my Butterfly thinlit, traced on watercolor paper, wet just the inside of the butterfly with water and then added the reinkers with aqua painters. I haven't done any videos....a goal of mine this year. Thanks for the compliment. Anything else I can answer, let me know.
