Sounds like we are in for another cold weekend so I will be indoors doing lots of stamping after my workshop tomorrow. If you have to live in the cold like me, stay warm!!

Balloons Galore
This is really a fun little stamp set and die to work with. So many ideas you can come up with using Balloon Celebration stamp set and the matching punch. I mounted the balloons on dimensionals and then ran the string under them a bit. I'ts hard to see in the pictures, but I used Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on the balloon base....oh do I love that pen!! Just adds the right amount of sparkle. I used the Party Pop-Ups thinlits die for the inside of the card.

Rose Wonder
The beauty of this rose is just breath taking especially with water colors. And to think I debated about even getting this set???!! But it also has so MANY beautiful sayings. It can be appropriate for weddings, sympathy, birthdays, thank yous and just for thoughts of you. You can really get your money out of this stamp set and die. I water colored the background with Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette and Calypso Coral. Then used the fine tip glue pen after it was dry to adhere the rose.

Do More of What Makes You Happy
It's a great day to stay inside and make cards. It's only 5 degrees right now. We had strong winds and it was down to -6 during the night. I'll be glad to see summer come. Today's card features a card I water colored. SURPRISE !! Beings that is what I love doing. I wet my watercolor paper first and then added drops of Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride and Calypso Coral with my Aqua painter. After it was dry I took my Aqua painter and flicked clear water on it to add some spots and blotted the water with a paper towel. When that was dry I embossed the card with Versamark and Melon Mambo embossing powder. This will make a great Valentine's Day card.

Simple but Elegant
Today's card is another watercolor card. Unfortunately the Snuggles and Smooches stamp set and the Expressions thinlit dies are no longer available. But you could substitute "Project Life Memories in the Making" for the stamp set and the word LOVE from any of the current stamp sets. The base is Melon Mambo cut 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2". The white layer is 3 3/4" x 5" and the white watercolor paper is 2 3/4" x 4". I wet the watercolor paper with my aqua painter and then used Melon Mambo ink pad to do my watercoloring. You always get a different effect when you watercolor which I love. After the paper is dry. I stamped the circle in VersaMark and then used white embossing powder on it to heat set it. After that I stamped randomly with a stamp from Gorgeous Grunge in Versamark and then heat set that in white embossing powder. I let my watercolor paper dry overnight but if you are in a hurry you can use your heat tool to dry it.

Watercolor Love
I LOVE to watercolor. So experimented with a few things today. The base is whisper white card stock and then I cut a 5 1/4" x 4" piece for the first layer. The watercolor piece is 3" x 4 1/2". I used Bermuda Bay and So Saffron to watercolor. I wet the entire sheet first and then just dabbled on some color. I used the retired stamp set, Snuggles and Smooches and stamped it with Versamark on the watercolor paper after it was dry. Another good stamp set to use for this card would be Project Life Memories in the Making. Item 140743.Then I used white embossing powder to set it. I loved the results of this card.

Bloomin Love
Out with the old and in with the new. Happy New Year 2016 stampers!! I'm sharing a heart card that I did. I love to water color so thought I would incorporate that with the new Bloomin Heart Thinlit Die. I water colored using some of the shades of purple and turquoise and then mounted the water color paper on silver foil. I heat embossed the you in the second picture. I couldn't decide which I liked better. How about you? The card is so much prettier in person. I just couldn't get a good snap of it.
