Life is a Garden

I'm loving this new Lemon Lime Twist card stock and look at the beautiful daises. This daisy punch has been on back order for quite some time and is now back in stock for a while. I punched the daisies and put one on top of the other and glued them and then adhered the embellishment on top. I take a bone folder before I place them on top of one another to give them a little life! I used about 12 daisies for this arrangement. I hot glued the flowers onto a dowel and just used some filler to stick them in. I purchased the mug at Michael's.

My three sisters and I are hosting the Rushmore Stampin! Roundup in my home state of South Dakota and here is the info:

Sympathy Card

I have several sympathy cards made but when I went to grab one to take to a visitation tonight for a guy I've known since my boys were in school, none of them seemed to fit. Do you ever have that happen? So I grabbed some colors and knew I wanted to use a set that had to do with hunting as this guy loved to hunt and fish. This is what I came up with:

I started out with a sponge dauber using Wild Wasabi followed by So Saffron, Night of Navy and Perfect Plum. After I was happy with the blending, I stamped the elk and trees with Black Archival Ink. I love the Wilderness Awaits stamp set. It's probably one I won't get rid of.

Hello

These little piggies are so stinkin' cute!! I've made several of these cards and have sold them and now I'm making more. With this card, I water colored the little piggy on water color paper in Pacific Point. I backed it with the beautiful doily. The Hello was cut in Pink Pinroutte and to get the ombre look I just sponged the bottom part with Melon Mambo.
